Summer in the City Gala Showcase
Every year, Kimmel Center, Inc. thanks its high-level donors and corporate partners with a special celebration and concert. The Gala Showcase is given to every guest at this exclusive social event, and it contains important information about the evening’s itinerary, performers and honorees. Half Page Horizontal :

4.5 x 3.5 ad size
5.5 x 8.25 page

Half Page Vertical :

2.156 x 7.25 ad size
5.5 x 8.25 page

Quarter Page Vertical:

Specifications:

Software
Ads can be submitted as EPS, TIFF or PDF files.

Macintosh format:

Photoshop: Saved as a high-resolution (300 dpi or higher at 100%) TIFF or EPS
Illustrator: Convert type to outlines and export as an EPS or TIFF files. Include all linked images and fonts.
Adobe Acrobat: Embed all fonts and images and save as a high-resolution, uncompressed PDF at 100%.

IBM/PC format:

We are not IBM/PC compatible. If you must submit IBM/PC files for publication, please call to discuss file conversion.

Fonts
Postscript fonts are preferred. Truetype fonts may pose technical problems. IBM/PC fonts may be substituted. Be sure to include all of your Postscript Printer and Screen fonts or Truetype fonts with your ad. PC Postscript fonts require both the screen font and the printer font.

Scans
High-resolution scans must be made at 300 dpi and 100% of the final print size. Images taken from a Web site are not satisfactory. Images scanned from printed materials are not satisfactory. Images embedded in a Word file are not satisfactory. Images running in color must be saved as CMYK, not RGB. Images running in black and white must be saved as grayscale. All images must be saved as a TIFF or EPS file.

Colors
All colors appearing in your ad must be built from CMYK. If you must print a spot color, please call to discuss PMS ink charges, otherwise any spot colors will be converted to CMYK.

What to include with submission:

Insertion order outlining: contact information, publication, run date(s), ad size and color.
All ad files must include the name of your organization in the title of the electronic file.
All fonts and linked files used in creating the ad.
