
Telephone Sales Representative (part-time, temporary)
Reports to: Campaign Manager
Status: Hourly plus commissions, plus bonuses, temporary/part-time
Hours: 20 hours per week, 5pm-9pm, Sundays through Thursdays. Campaign is scheduled to run September 25 through June 30, with a 2 week winter hiatus.
Summary:
Kimmel Center Inc. Telephone Sales Representatives are professional callers who contact current
and lapsed Kimmel Center donors, ticket buyers, and current and lapsed subscribers. The purpose
of the call is to enroll new members as well as to renew and upgrade members with all work performed
under the leadership of a Campaign Manager. All Telephone Sales Representatives receive training
and work as a team.
Essential Functions:
- Articulate the Kimmel Center Member benefits package over the phone to assigned households
using a defined approach with approved Kimmel Center materials.
- Sustain satisfactory sales levels as defined by Campaign Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to sit, write, use a telephone keypad, and clearly communicate information as well
as record information.
- Ability to work in close proximity to others for long periods of time.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Sales experience preferred.
- Appreciation of the arts and culture community.
- Professional appearance required. Business casual dress acceptable.
